Located at a wastewater treatment facility, this impeller from a 25 year old pump was headed to the scrap yard.
Replacement parts for the pump were obsolete and the city was considering replacing the pump for $12,000+ and 8 weeks of downtime. After grit blasting the impeller and minimal welding, the veins were rebuilt with CeramAlloy CP+AC.
Followed by 2 coats of CeramAlloy CL+AC.
This repair and protection application only took 1 week to complete and the total cost for material and labor was less than $4,000. Problem Solved!
