Salt water evaporators repaired..Better than new with METALCLAD CeramAlloy
Garry McGehee, President of ENECON Hampton Roads, Inc., explains that salt water evaporators are found on just about every type of large military and commercial ship as well as in many coastal installations. These are used to create fresh water from salt water.
The evaporators are typically coated at the factory with fiberglass or some other “low-tech” material. It has been Garry’s experience that these factory-applied coatings often do not last even one year after the evaporators are put into service.
The US Navy, The US Military Sea lift Command, as well as numerous commercial marine clients have turned to ENECON Hampton Roads over the years to provide a high performance and cost effective corrosion protection system for these critical units.
