This application is something that comes up very frequently for our clients. In this case, the concrete around this pump was getting cracked and damaged through heavy usage. Downtime is something that is avoided as that can stop production costing thousands per hour that the equipment is offline.
During a planned weekend outage this base was repaired using the ENECON ENECRETE DuraFill epoxy mixed with sand. This material will bond to the existing concrete as well as curing at 10,000 psi which is more than double the strength of ready-mix concrete.
